MobilityGuard
Launching soon · now in beta in Kent

Their freedom. Your peace of mind.

MobilityGuard is a small unit your mobility dealer fits out of sight on the scooter. The rider just gets on and goes. If anything needs doing, the right person gets one calm message.

  • Nothing to wear or charge
  • Works with any phone
  • Location private by default
An older woman rides her mobility scooter through a sunny park with her daughter walking beside her, both laughing.
🌳Mum's arrived at the park10:42 · battery 82%, plenty to get home
A morning out

You know she's fine, without ringing to check.

Margaret is off to the surgery and then the shops. Her daughter gets a short message as she arrives at and leaves each place she's saved. If the battery is getting low for the trip back, Margaret gets a text telling her it's time to head home.

Save as many places as you like, from home and the GP to the day centre or a friend's house. A wider safe area can warn you if the scooter goes further than usual.

Fitted by your dealer

Wired into the scooter, out of sight. Nothing for the rider to wear, press or remember to charge.

Calm, not chatty

One message at a time, and only when something needs doing. The most serious one always goes first.

No app needed

Everything works by plain text on any phone. The app is there if you'd like to see more.

What it covers

The four things families worry about.

MobilityGuard does a lot, so here it is the way you'd think about it: the questions that go through your head when someone you love heads out on their own.

An older man in his dressing gown looks worried at his scooter in the garage, its battery flat. Will he get home?

Battery care that stops breakdowns before they happen.

  • "Time to head home" texts to the rider when the battery is getting low for the distance home.
  • Reminders at 25% and 10%, an evening nudge to plug in, and a carer told if it's missed.
  • Battery health checked every month, so a worn battery is swapped before it lets them down.
  • A care score for charging habits, plus warnings about a faulty charger or a very cold battery.
An older woman sits at the kerb holding her arm beside her tipped-over mobility scooter. What if she tips over?

Help is on its way in seconds.

  • Crash, tip-over and fall alerts go to up to three carers at once, with the location.
  • An optional SOS button the rider can press, which works on its own so nothing can hold it up.
  • Carers can tap "I'm dealing with it" so everyone else knows it's in hand.
  • Key details for 999 can be sent to carers with the alert, if the rider agrees.
A woman in a café checks her mother's scooter on the MobilityGuard app. Where has Mum got to?

Messages when they arrive and leave the places that matter.

  • Save places like home, the surgery or a friend's house. You'll hear when they get there and when they leave.
  • "Not home yet" if the scooter's still out after the time you choose.
  • A safe area alert if the scooter goes further than usual, all day or just at night.
  • Only ever shared if the rider says yes.
A hooded thief wheels a mobility scooter away from a house at night, its cut chain left on the ground. What if someone takes it?

Security that knows the difference between a ride and a theft.

  • Tow alert if the scooter is moved while it's switched off.
  • Tamper alert if the battery or the unit is disconnected.
  • The location is included on every urgent alert, ready to pass to the police.
Pre-emptive battery care

Look after the battery, and it looks after them.

Most scooter breakdowns come down to a worn or badly treated battery. MobilityGuard watches it every day, so problems are fixed before anyone is left stranded.

  • Active monitoringCharge, range and charging, checked day and night. You and your dealer can see it any time.
  • Health checks every monthTested while parked, while riding, and by comparing the two batteries. That tells a worn battery apart from a soft tyre or a dragging brake.
  • Caught earlyA battery left flat, a charger that isn't working, or charging habits that shorten its life are picked up straight away, with a gentle nudge to the rider and family.

WHERE

Margaret's scooter was last seen at 11:48 near the Co-op, High Street. maps.google.com/?q=… This is where the scooter is, not always where Margaret is.

BATTERY

Margaret's scooter: 34%, about 4.1 miles left. Not charging.

The dealer portal

Your dealer can see the battery, not where you go.

Every scooter's battery, charging and alerts in one place, so your dealer can spot trouble early and back up a warranty claim with real evidence. They never see the rider's location.

Swipe sideways to see the whole screen.

See trouble coming

Monthly health checks while parked and while riding tell a worn battery apart from a soft tyre or a dragging brake.

Evidence for warranty claims

A full charging and battery history for every scooter, so no one pays for a battery they didn't need.

Service requests come to you

When a rider texts SERVICE, the request goes straight to their own dealer.

Who gets told

The right person, in the right order.

Everyday reminders go to the rider first. Carers only hear if it isn't sorted. Anything urgent goes to everyone at once.

Private by default

Their location stays theirs.

  • Carers only see a location if the rider has said yes. It's off until they do.
  • Dealers never see where the rider is.
  • Location history is deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Riders can stop all texts at any time by sending STOP.

For mobility dealers

Are you a mobility scooter dealer?

MobilityGuard is sold and fitted through local dealers. We're looking for a small number of launch partners.

A dealer shows an older customer and her daughter the MobilityGuard app on a tablet in the showroom.

Free fleet portal

Battery health, charging and alerts for every scooter you've fitted, in one screen.

Near-cost hardware

You fit it and charge for the fitting. Your customers stay your customers.

No more warranty arguments

A full battery history tells real faults apart from a battery left flat, and diagnoses take minutes, not an afternoon of load tests.

How partnering works

  1. Get set up

We train your team on fitting and give you your own portal login.

  2. Offer it at the sale

Show customers and their families what it does when they buy or service a scooter.

  3. Fit and hand over

Fit the unit, then help the family set up the app, their contacts and saved places.

  4. Look after them

The portal flags batteries that need attention, so you call them before they call you.
